ACCOUNT MANAGER

Skills and Experience:
  • BA/BS or equivalent
  • Minimum of 8+ years of account management experience preferably with syndicated or custom research
  • Possess strong communication skills in both writing and presentation to clearly and effectively communicate to a wide variety of client contacts (support staff to C-level)
  • Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to handle pressure, juggle multiple responsibilities simultaneously, and work well with a diverse customer base and various internal teams
  • Expert in all MS Office Products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

We’re seeking individuals with a passion for food and an interest in understanding trends impacting restaurants to join our Syndicated Research team. Key Responsibilities include:
  • Develop and maintain client relationships with key accounts in the food service industry
    • Manage key accounts as part of a team approach including strategic and tactical planning and implementation
    • Proactively identify growth opportunities for key accounts
    • Provide key accounts actionable insights leveraging Datassential syndicated services
    • Present to high level management at clients and industry events
    • Train clients on Datassential syndicated tools
  • Data analysis, reporting, and presentation development
    • Scope projects incorporating all Datassential syndicated tools
    • Create presentations that are visually intuitive
    • Cull insights, key findings, and strategic recommendations from data
    • Create actionable conclusions and recommendations
  • Manage and mentor direct reports
    • Train direct reports on Datassential syndicated tools
    • Guide and mentor direct reports on key client responsibilities including data pulling, charting, report writing and client interactions
    • QC all direct report deliverables for accuracy
    • Provide direction and feedback for career progression

Datassential, a boutique food & beverage research company, is looking for career driven, enthusiastic entry-level candidates to join the Custom Research team. We are looking for outgoing individuals that are interested in working with a number of Fortune 500 companies.

The Custom Research team is a unique learning ground that continually hones your critical thinking skills. Every project and client goal is different and presents new opportunities for development in strategic analysis.

Associates are an integral part of the project team and participate fully in each project stage, from inception through completion - learning a broad spectrum of market research-related skills along the way.

New hires will be responsible for a wide range of project-related tasks ranging from assisting in custom survey development to data analysis and report writing (see detail below).

Main responsibilities:
  • Questionnaire assistance – includes:
    • Testing to ensure proper data collection, actively managing data collection, reviewing data for integrity and accuracy
    • Developing proficiency with questionnaire writing (wording, structure, traditional and proprietary methodologies)
  • Data analysis, reporting, and presentation development - includes:
    • Implementing numerous analytic methodologies and learning situational applicability
    • Presentation of data in visually creative ways
    • Development in culling insights and important findings from the data
  • Solving day-to-day data/project related issues with minimal supervision

Datassential is looking for career driven Marketing Research Analysts to join the MenuTrends team. We are looking for outgoing individuals that are interested in client facing relationships working with a number of Fortune 500 companies. Interested candidates will be responsible for managing multiple clients by providing actionable insights through the utilization of the largest syndicated menu database in the food industry.

Main responsibilities:
  • Manage day to day client relationships for a number of assigned clients
  • Utilize the MenuTrends database to pull, chart and write comprehensive data analyses
  • Develop actionable report content and analysis based on client business issues
  • Present insights to clients via webinars or in-person presentations
  • Conduct group training sessions with clients on utilizing the MenuTrends database via webinars or in-person meetings
  • Attend industry events
  • Contribute content to the various trend publications that are published on a monthly basis
  • Assist senior management with new product development database needs
